Cheap fill in lighting made easy.

Cheap fill in lighting. I shoot with one main studio strobe mounted on the celling. I used to use addition strobes for fill in lighting, but preview and exposure calculations were a pain. Then I found something better. Aluminum foil wrapped on homemade cheap cardboard easels. Attached are my “2 stop”, “1 stop” and “1/2 stop” versions. If you shoot digital, be careful not to crinkle the foil. This has an additional benefit in being to see your fillin before you shoot Notice how the near sides of the Ferrari are filled in.

Great result! Thanks for sharing! The fading background is what I would want if I would take photos of my collection.
