CMR 1/12 Porsche 911 (964) Turbo S Leichtbau

Post by David » Wed Dec 26, 2018 1:00 pm

This one is really special and one of my most anticipated model of the year despite having the 1/18 alread...I can't get enough of the extreme versions of the 964 platform.

CMR or should I say GT Spirit brought back the mould from the 964 Turbo 3.6 and made out a Turbo S out of it. Easy milking astonishing results. The Dark blue Turbo 3.6 was stunning but that Speed yellow Turbo S is something else...A special beast!
As I said earlier, I already have the 1/18 but I must say, the 1/12 captures the essence of that car much better. This does not only apply to this specific 911 but also to many other models in that scale. Place is the only issue!

stunning model & pics...love those Speedline wheels. I missed the 1:18, so hoping that they reissue it at some point, though would love the flat-nose (968/928 style) front end.

I can't say how much I love the lines of the 964, just beautiful. I'm still waiting for alternative colours from GTS in 1:18 scale. Maybe AUTOart might do it?!...

I love this model! If I had the space for 1/12...

I have a GTS one in 1/18, but in Amethyst (purple), but I really wanted the yellow version, but sadly missed it. I'd like to see a re-release in 1/18, for sure.

Speaking for myself the 964 is the sexiest car on the planet and this sits at the top.
