The only thing that betrays the pic is the shutline on the red one

Re: Forced Perspectives
Yes. I love this car, but there are a couple of things like that that make it a little less authentic than some of the other Danbury Mint cars.

Re: Forced Perspectives
Another Fall shot with my Chris Craft. Taken at the Tayler Park boat launch near Osgoode on the Rideau. The Chris Craft is an AMT kit and the Pick up is Danbury Mint.

Re: Forced Perspectives
Took advantage of the warm sun today and took a few winter shots at the Experimental Farm. This is a First Gear International Harvester model.
Re: Forced Perspectives
It is so well, is very poetic can you explain how you stand to make beautiful pictures as well

Re: Forced Perspectives
Thank you Chris. The model is placed on a 2' X 4' sheet of MDF which sits on two saw horses. The edge of the MDF platform is aligned with the horizon. The platform of course is detailed to look like the surrounding environment. Typically this would be painted with a light grey weathered look for a street scene. In this case, I covered the board with baking soda to look like snow. Getting the perspective correct is the key of course. For 1 24 scale the lens should be a foot away from the model and the model should be about 24' from the desired focal point. Make sure the model is in the same light as the rest of the picture. For example don't set up under a tree with the car in the shade and expect it to look like it's part of a sunny scene. And make sure your face doesn't show up in a hubcap or the side of the car.

Re: Forced Perspectives
Another First Gear diecast I picked up recently. I actually purchased it to get the accessories that came with it. However, it's probably one of their more detailed models and verging on Danbury Mint quality. Unlike most of the First Gear models, it has steerable front wheels which give it a little more life.
Re: Forced Perspectives
Again, impressive. What is real and what is fake here?
