I purchased this model from them on 6th of january - AutoArt 1:18 Honda HSX Type R in White.

Advertised as new, perfect condition. What I received is dirty and damaged model.


Front plate is missing and is nowhere in the box.




Photo-etched NSX badge on the left door is attached by the huge blob of glue.


Paint chips on the edge of the trunk cover.


There are black / grey marks on the seats. Looks like someone touched it with dirty hands.


Inside deeper parts of seats there is dust and dirt. Not so clearly seen on this photo.

Overall this is nasty.
There was a infamous issue with this model that seats were mismatched. Right seat in the place of left, and vice versa.
So I suspect they tried to fix this problem. But didn't wash hands and they weren't careful.
Anyway totally unacceptable.
Opened the case and they didn't seem to care so I took it to eBay. Now waiting for their decision.

Update: after I took the case to eBay I received full refund.
Right after that seller contacts me saying he sent replacement model few days ago and informed me. Actually I did not receive any message from them.
I said I will send the damaged model back to them and repay refund that was issued back to me. But only after I get replacement in perfect condition. Also I told them to cover the postage back for damaged model.

No negative feedback as of recently. That's why I was confident buying from them.
Anyway will see how it goes further. Right now I don't have to worry and that's a good thing.

Sorry to hear the bad news, its the price of buying models on-line, and especially on eBay. 95% of the time it goes good but that 5% just hits you were it hurts!

In the beginning of collecting my rate of good deals was 100%.
In the last 6 months I think it is as low as 70 - 80 % unfortunately.
