PSA: Facebook diecast scam thats making the rounds

Post by JamesonsViggen » Sat Aug 18, 2018 6:53 pm

There is a seller posting on Facebook offering Initial D Toyota AE86s, GTRs(Autoart) and now the Fast and Furious Charger (Hotwheels Elite). Thousands of people are buying these cars and wait a month to find out the result The video shows what they claim VS what you get. I wanted to solve the mystery since I sawthousands of replies of interest but no one showing what they received. Maybe I was among the first hehe.

I'll say it again, a fool and his money will soon be departed... Friends if anything seems too good to be true it is! Let's keep an eye out for this idiot/scammer.

Might sound harsh, but I never thought this wasn't a scam...

I was pretty certain. But the stated original :D :D :D retail sounded right. I knew no one else except Jada made the ID AE86 and it stated 1:18 and 100% satisfaction guaranteed. With PayPal protection, what was the angle of the scam? You only get the answer by buying and seeing which was my experiment. They figure you'll eat it or if you complain they offer a partial refund which at 70% they're still making money.
