Quick and Dirty 1/18 scale Gulf Box Trailer

Post by Oldtimer » Mon Sep 14, 2020 1:38 pm

Took delivery this morning of a Premium Classix Mercedes Gulf Box Truck. Model had issues (as many of these similar one's have), and bought as a donor.

Since these are resin, with very few chassis details, pretty easy to cut the rear of the chassis off, and attach the trailer tongue from a GMP Trailer (I'll go back and clean up some of the details later, like painting over the cut resin, etc.).

Flip it over, and position it behind a good box truck, and then pose it with one of the several Gulf-liveried models I have.

Jim that looks great! The traditional Gulf livery looks fantastic in front of the hauler.
