Forgot to take a before picture of the engine AGAIN, but no worries when you have the internet. Not a great looking engine, with a few strange solutions and some really bad parts in places. Its a really dramatic engine in real life, love the spider intake.
The engine in parts, except the orange air funnels, I will be replacing the stock ones with those. They are bigger, but thats a common look on real cars. Orange is not, and I planned to repaint them black, but they match the orange strip on the air box so now I am tempted to leave them orange for some bling.
Current state of the engine. Sanding, repaint, worn look and 32 metal bolts. Most of those will be invisible, lol. The connections for the spider legs are scratch made and more accurate. Clamp tighteners will come later. The cam covers in the background were gloss black, but I cant find any pictures of them being black. The covers will get photo-etched Porsche logos later, same with the missing emblem on the spider.
Now the "big" (small) job begins, making all the pieces that Autoart didnt want to make.
Oh, and the phone dial wheels will be swapped for Cups. Also lowered slightly.
