That A110 looks good. I have a couple Alpine from Otto and can confirm they are really good. In my experience their French cars are better made than the rest.

That is most certainly true and very French at the same time!

Next model I want to show is not new in my collection, but has been there for some years. The KK-scale Alfa Spider is, for a KK-scale that is, good model. But, it could do with some slight improvements. Not really a lot of modifications, but enough to lift the model somewhat, I flocked the interior, painted some interior parts and also painted the (non-opening) shutlines black.

I don't remember this one coming out. A must have for Alfa collectors, I'd guess...I don't remember ever seeing one of these '80s Spiders produced.

Well, at some point it had to happen, my first BBR. Still having my over 25 year old Bburago F50 in the collection, it was long overdue for replacement. After BBR announced this model, I thought about it a long time. In the end it is a lot of money for a sealed model, but decided to pull the trigger and pre-ordered it at a local BBR dealer. I went to pick it up last week. Spend some time there and looked a a lot of BBR and MR models. People can say what they want about those models, but they are good. Seriously good.

About the F50 I took home? 1 downside: It is of course sealed. For the rest: it is a masterpiece.

My bank account is ruined for the rest of my life.

That is a lovely addition, I have the same on the water, which is due very soon. I can relate to the $$ as I recently acquired SF90 and now this. BUT I'm tired of the lacking details on Bburago and the lack of assortment. Just ordered the 812 :money: :money:

Yes, the Bburago's are wrong in so many ways, lack of models, lack of spec choices and in the end, they are still toys.

You won't be disappointed when your F50 arrives arrives!

I have a SF90 Spider (in a very unique spec) on its way as well, should be arriving at some point later this week. Also have 6 other BBR models on pre-order now and still some others I am considdering :shame: The lack of good Ferrari models in my collection, due to the Bburago situation, is something I am determent to correct.

LOL, I came to the same conclusion very recently too. And as you, I have many modern Ferraris in Red on pre-order too :money: :money:

Next one is not new, but some modifications. I bought the Alfa 4C at CK for a massvie discount a couple of years ago. Nice model, but missing something. The pearl white is gorgeous, but the rest of the spec was a bit boring and not very 'Alfa'.

Modification I did:

Changed the seats from black to red and added new decals to the headrests
Lowered the front ride height to make it more in line with the real car (it just was too high)
Made the shutlines of the non-opening parts black
Added some 'tricolore' stripes

For how it was:

This is how it is now:

Yes, looks great with the read seats and the Italian stripe. I have this one in metallic red and find that close shut lines are realistic. But probably on the pearl white the black wash was needed.
