A Hungarian's 1/18 Collection

Post by aBelga » Sat May 02, 2020 12:00 pm

Hi everyone,

I am a Hungarian procurement professional working in the UK. I have recently picked up collecting scale models as a hobby. I 'only' have 2 cars as of this moment, but rest assured, this number will grow quick.

In this topic, I'd like to showcase my 1/18 collection. Please note that I am not very good when it comes to taking pictures of diecast cars, I haven't even got a proper setup, nevertheless I tried to do my best.

Withour further ado, please welcome my first model, the breathtaking Mercedes AMG GT R (Red) by Norev.

This a GREAT model from Norev. Some much detail, best bang for buck!

Even though I have only bought one of their models, I'm sure I will be a regular Norev customer. I fell in love with this GT R & if their other models are similar quality, I cannot go wrong with them.

As I said, they are In my opinion the best bang for the buck in the hobby today. Solid efforts, diecast and opening too. They have managed to keep pricing in check. How it seems their production runs are high and it seems someone at the when understanding where to find efficiencies without totally destroying the final executed product!

I have some downtime on my hands between exams and my dissertation, so I decided to take pictures of my second model car, the Pagani Huayra made by GT Autos.

Another smart edition. Another great example that good models can be priced well below AUTOart.
