Hey Brian other than the screws what are you using for spacers underneath the cars? TIA!
Re: My Collection
Nice collection. It's huge. Just wouldn't want to dust that many cars lol

Re: My Collection
Interesting display, are the screws just to prevent the cars from rolling off the shelves?
Re: My Collection
Nope, keep them from actually making contact with the shelf.Diecast604 wrote:Interesting display, are the screws just to prevent the cars from rolling off the shelves?

Re: My Collection
Ok, I have to ask... It seems that you are a very meticulous collector who does everything to avoid any type of wear on the models (ie lifting them off the shelf), how do you deal with the dust on all of these in the open air? I know they can be cleaned, but there is always cracks and crevices that dust can never be fished out of...
I would KILL to keep all of mine out of the cases with all hoods/doors fully open, but dust is just an slow evil destroyer.

Re: My Collection
I use the Ikea Billy cases. What I did to minimize the bust was add weather striping around the perimeter of the door. You can see the results in the image below. Almost 100% sealed. Keeps dust to a min.Mikey MKIV wrote:Ok, I have to ask...
