Hey folks,
I'm an avid F1 enthusiast and a licensed FIA official.
I am currently in the process of obtaining my FIA Class A Super license as a Steward.
I have been on the Stewards panel since 2008 and initially started as a Scrutineer back in 2005.
Here is my Safety car collection. I have 4 more cars on the way to complete my lineup, Hopefully in a few weeks.
Currently, I have the following:
1996 C36 AMG
1998 CLK55 AMG
2000 CL55 AMG
2002 SL55 AMG
2010 SLS AMG
2019 AMG GTR
Coming soon are:
2005 SLK55 AMG
2008 SL63 AMG
2006 CLK 63 Black Series AMG
And finally, I am customizing a 2015 AMG GTS

Firstly, a member must register with the local ASN ( Motorsport Authority of his/her home country )
Then comes the training ( marshalling, race control and scrutineering )
Then experience during international events ( local or regional )
Then apply to be nominated for the pool of stewards based on knowledge and experience and consistency.
Then picked to attend the FIA training course held annually in Geneva.
Pass the test and get certified.
Attend 3 international events by nomination as either an observer or a 4th steward.
Voila, you get your license.

As far as benefits are concerned, this job is voluntary. You don't get paid for it.
However, for the love of the sport, and the fact that you will hold the most expensive pass on that weekend ( access all areas ), all your expenses are paid for ( air tickets business class, hotels and allowances )

4 additional safety car conversions were performed. Still not finished as some of the decals were incorrect.
I'm awaiting the new decals to arrive
