1:43 Concept Car collection

Post by leyang662 » Wed Dec 28, 2022 1:49 am

Hi Everyone! I'm new to the forum but I've been a collector for a while and wanted to share.

I specifically collect 1/43 scale concept car models from a variety of brands, including: Norev, TrueScaleMinatures, Looksmart, AutoArt, Avenue43, TopMarques, and others I am probably forgetting.

As a car designer (currently working at VW group), concept cars always fascinate me since they represent "what could have been". They are great sources of inspiration, and hope others on the forum share my particular fascination!

Hi, welcome! You have an awesome collection sir, thanks for sharing. From one who loves concepts, though only collects 1:18 scale I am envious of the depth that is available in 1:43.

Thanks you! Glad I can be part of the community. I’ve definitely thought of collecting 1:18 too since there’s some concepts I really want that are exclusive to that scale, but with a smaller apartment and a budget it’s been good restraining myself for now.

It is insane what a breath of assortment with 1:43. On many occasions I thought about moving to the scale.

What really got me into collecting at this scale was Norev. They make so many decent models of French cars at this scale that it was hard not to find a model I was looking for. And all for a decent budget.

Norev is GREAT for this hobby! Good value and more than decent executed replicas :okay:

Whoa that's a good bunch. I think out of them I would love the BMW next 100 and Bugatti in 18/th scale. Really see those details.
