Ferdi's 1:18 HE Ferrari collection

Post by ferrarifan » Sun Nov 19, 2023 2:19 pm

Hello,

I am a huge Ferrari fan and I have a 1:18 Ferrari collection. I will show my scale models here in the coming period.
Important manufacturers in my collection are: Kyosho, BBR, CMC and Hotwheels elite.

Here is a colorful BBR group photo with a number of legendary 60s models, from left to right: 400 Superamerica, 365 California, 275 GTB (long nose variant), 500 Superfast. I am very proud to have this list in my possession. The more you look at them, the more beautiful they become. Beautiful lines with wonderful details.
At the time, you could get the 275 GTB for half the money you paid for a Superfast. Nowadays you pay around €1,000,000 for a well-maintained 500 Superfast, while the 275 GTB costs a multiple of that amount.
The most exclusive of the bunch is the 365 California with a production number of 14 units. None of these 14 have appeared at auction in recent decades and are scattered in various collections around the world. I dare not make a prediction about the value at auction, that is beyond my imagination :)

Dear fellow collectors. Traditionally another Annual Review 2023. It was a good year for me with many BBR acquisitions.
I'm curious what you think of it and especially which model you think is my best purchase.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year

A good year! I'm more into modern cars, fo the F50 gravities the most for me.
