Nice collection. You really need a display case for all the models in boxes without windows. Its a shame to have them like that.

Nice collection...mine is set up that way as well. Hoping to finish off our basement in the next few years.

Impressive collection! Some real gems that could definitely use a display case.

This is temporary, don't worry. The basement is a work in progress.

Wow, thats awesome! How many 1/18s do you have approx? thats a long wall of boxes, Id be looking through those for hours!

Whats your plan for displaying, cases with cars out of the boxes, or shelves with the boxes? Post pictures as you build up your display!

I have 500-505 1/18s, about a dozen 1/12s, and 15-20 1/43s

I plan on finishing the basement and putting loose cars on back lit glass free floating shelves. I also have a 120" power screen and projector coming, and a steering wheel/seat setup for GT5-6 on the PS3.

Figure, it might be worth updating this.

I sold my house and moved to Michigan. I swore the next house would have a proper finished basement with storage for boxes and the cars in nice sealed displays.

In the meantime, I packed over 500 cars in a pod, kind of like Tetris.

So while we are in a townhouse for the year as we figure out or build the next house, I have a couple books shelves which were empty only a couple of months ago!

Recent additions shown in the pic:
Autoart Cortina, came a bit battered so working to get a refund from USPS but keep the car
Otto Mobil Ford Sierra in white, my first resine car
Revell 914, these go for at least $100 on eBay, got a great local score
Greenlight Trans AM GTA pace car, nice details for the money, one day sale on Amazon for $21 shipped!

I am very much looking forward to uniting new cars with the full collection and in a proper space. I figure 6-12 more months until that happens. Sigh, patience.
