I have the black Elite 410...didn't realize it was based on a Columbus owner's car...kind of cool, as that's where I live.
Awesome model & props to Hot Wheels Elite for all the detail changes between the various models.

Wow! what a nice piece. Beautifully done by CMC
Re: V12 FERRARI - 250 Testa Rossa
LOL it may be already too much, honestly it is outrageous but I love it!Lucky13 wrote:Thank you. Honestly, I don't believe that there is any need for more detail than this in any model.
Re: V12 FERRARI - 250 Testa Rossa
beautiful model. I saw a 1:1 when I was a kid at a local car show & the owner had the Bburago model sitting behind the shifter.
This is a model I wish Hot Wheels Elite had done as well. The CMC is way out of my price range & way more detailed than I need out of a model. I still have my old Bburago & I'll hold onto it, as it was my first 1:18 Ferrari (2nd or 3rd overall).

Love the California. CMC's version is stunning, but too expensive for my liking. Seeing your pics, Mattel have done an excellent job. Very nice model, indeed. I didn't realise Mattel's version was out!
Re: V12 FERRARI - 250 California
Are you sure the Hot Wheels Elite's are LWB cars? They're marketed & boxed as SWB's.
this is one of Hot Wheels Elite's best models, In my opinion. I have the red one, which now is rather expensive, but the other colors can still be found pretty cheap.Philip wrote:Love the California. Re: V12 FERRARI - 250 California
I paid $81 shipped for my red one new...$120 seems like a pretty good deal, based on market prices. I doubt you'll find one cheaper.
It is an outstanding model, KRAFTIG. If you don't have to have red, the other colors look just as good, In my opinion & are CHEAP!

Lucky13, I love your 1958 FERRARI 250 GT Spyder California SWB pictures. Would you be able to post the top of the car? Bird perspective but 90 degrees? There is not a single photo of that car from the sky perspective.... and I love it and I would like to see it
Thanks,
K

Looking good. Still haven't found one, Ravi's was a little less than mint for my liking...
Re: V12 FERRARI - 250 California
It looks amazing. I had the chance (privilege maybe?) to see it in the flesh recently and even if I'm not really into 1:18s I fell in love with it. Has a touch of Autoart. It is the first time Hotwheels surprises me positively.
