After a long absence I realized that I missed a lot ...
...and I missed your posts my friend.
Your themes and presentations are always a delight for the soul of a collecto. I'm glad you are back and will try to surprise you with some old but exceptional Cavallino's.

Nice. I messaged Exoto on facebook a couple of times, asking them to set up a distributor in Canada, so we could take advantage of the sales but not pay the import fees. Tony said something along the lines of "we'll look into it". Not much hope there. Trouble is, no one wants to work with them after their shoddy practices. A lot of vendors stopped ordering Exoto models years ago. Ebay is the only option, but a couple of my recent purchases from Europe and the states were taxed heavily, so I need to restrict myself to Canada when it comes to really expensive models, and as soon as you click "Canada only" option in the search filter, it goes from 200 results to 2. Really frustrating.

Anyway, great model! These were on sale recently on the site for 198 or 148, can't remember. Pretty good deal.

Art on wheels I say... Thankfully I can refrain from this beauties otherwise I'd be poor poor poor if I collected them. Yellow is such a bold colour too.

The engine detail on this piece is off the charts, incredible!

I hope to add one of these some day. The rolling chassis looks insane. Been a while since the last update

The engine is nice, but I think what steals the show is the chassis itself. I can honestly say, that I feel they went unnecessary overboard on the complication of this model. Not to mention that it is extremely fragile. You look wrong at it and something falls off.
I've heard that from a number of people. Do you think it is worth the money? :money: :money:

I definitely understand. It would be nuts if someone tried to raise the bar even further. I'd don't know how I would react if I spent this much coin and parts were falling off. What is Exoto's response? Let me guess, nothing, nada... :D
scratch my head at how the hell did they produce some pieces so small from the materials they did.
Coming from you that is huge compliment, you have a true understanding of the engineering required to fabricate parts.

Love the blue. Do you know why the green and the blue colours were used?
