Here is something different and Huge as well as very heavy for a model. Its the Hachette 1:12 1966 Routemaster RM857, in Red. Where do i start.... I drove a 550 mile round trip and 11 hours in the early hours to collect this Beast in person from the other end of the UK. The Missus is away until tonight so perfect timing. The Routemaster is around 70cm long( about 27 and half inches) and as stated a heavy model but i love the detail and look of this Beauty, it's really nice. The Guy who i bought it off soldered the connections as they came a bit loose so all the electric features work like the Engine sound, the Bell to stop the bus the indicators, horn and lights. A lot of the windows open as per the original Bus from what i can see. A joy to look at is the interior lights and it makes the bus look like it is from the sixties with the little lights in there. I rate this Routemaster highly and if you have the room it is a Great ( Massive and impressive) centre piece. It also came with the route board and large badge as well as all the figures to put inside the bus. I am very happy with this purchase and will be making it look superb when i eventually get it on display.I have put a Apple a box of six eggs and a 1/12 McLaren F1 LM to show just how big this monster is.

Thanks guys, it's the biggest 1/12 i have up to now. The detail is Fantastic. I can just imagine if CMC made a 130 part kit in 1/12 this would be it ( thinking about the screws that you have to use)but instead of plastic the parts would be metal. I love the lit up interior of this looks very real.

Here is one of the latest models that have arrived and it's a great model with excellent detail. It's the Top Marques 1/12 1994 Ferrari F355 Spider, in Red. I can say it seems Top Marques are getting better with their 1/12 models and i am very happy with this Beauty, in fact i have the Berlinetta version from GT Spirit and the TM version is better than that one.

Thank you, yes it's a great looking model with sharper detail than previous 1/12 models from them and as said better than the GT Spirit version i have.

A fresh update and another excellent model. It's the Top Marques 1/12 1973 Ferrari Dino 308GT4, Coupe, in Red. This is another Great looker from Top Marques, i am so glad they are still making the 1/12 Ferrari's that no one else are making, keep them coming TM.

That Dino is lovely! I appreciate the subtle styling much more now than I did 20 years or so ago!

Fresh update and this is a Great looking model, better than the stock photos show. It's the Otto 1/12 1980 Fiat 131 Abarth, MC champion 1980, in White/Blue.

Thank you, Sir. I didn't order through Otto for most of my models from them including this so paid more than original releases but i have just pre ordered and paid for the Maxi 1/12 rally car so more photos to come when it lands later on in the year, if we are lucky with the shipping delays from them i see.

Here is the Norev 1/12 1962 Jaguar E Type Cabriolet, in Red. This was the only bid on this for a five day auction as i left a bid on and forgot about it only to have a message saying i had won it at the opening bid of £100 so i was surprised to have won this. I have the 1/12 Coupe GT Spirit version and i am happy to add the Cabriolet and this is better than i thought it was going to be. The interior does look and feel a bit plasticky but overall it's a very nice model and worth the price i paid for it. You get a cloth and a booklet with the history of the E Type Jag, a Great touch from Norev, my first Norev model too.

A decent price for sure. I agree the overall feel of the interior does look a little too plastic for me, but again, this is a budget model.
