Good for you!!! I tried to buy some models from Canada, but shipping price is too much and not acceptable.

Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R (KPGC110) by Kyosho

Post by rusel1978 » Sun May 03, 2015 1:19 pm

Last item, arrived few days ago - Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R (KPGC110) by Kyosho. I was looking for this model for a long time, this is old and rare model from Kyosho and price on ebay was enough high. But few weeks ago I found this model on diecastmodelswholesale.com with good price and of course bought immediately. With this model I closed Nissan Skyline/GT-R piece of collection . Model looks good, standard Kyosho quality, no big issues. Have workable suspension, high detailed engine, good painting, small gaps, not bad interior. I would point very well done dashboard and steering wheel with photoetched metal spokes.

Congrats, I know it feels good to hunt down a long sought after model. The engine looks very good and I love the looks of the car as well. I'm not willing to pay the high ebay prices so I hope autoart will make it as well.

Thanks! But with the current exchange rate between usd and cdn, that will cost me about $210!

Love the color of that ACME GTO. If I didn't already have the white Judge, I'd definitely go for that one.

Like that Skyline, too. I have the first release in red with the steelies, but these wheels look SO much better. That is a great model by Kyosho.

Oldsmobile 442 W30 by ACME

Post by rusel1978 » Tue May 05, 2015 1:11 pm

Lets continue with ACME models - Oldsmobile 442 W30. Another good model, have 2 real issues: big gaps around doors and door hinges aren't true. All other is good job ... color is fantastic and with white interior :okay: . Model is heavy, have functioning suspension, working sun visors, folding seats, nicely detailed engine.

Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 by ACME

Post by rusel1978 » Tue May 05, 2015 2:03 pm

And last model from ACME I have - Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396. Good model, no issues ... Only not clear for me why suspension isn't functioning :wall: . Oldsmobile above have same suspension and this is functioning ... Same suspension, same price, strange decision ...

I think that's due to the fact that they're using the old mould from Lane Exact Detail to make this model

yup...that's the reason.

Both great additions. Love the color combo on the Olds.

Oh and forgot the Olds! I have that same one, and it's worth it for the colour alone. Gorgeous car. And the Chevelle I have in light blue with white stripes, it's a Guycast edition

Blue Chevelle is much better than gray :), also good to have red one as in Fast & Furious:
