Didn't bother recording the number.

Think the only reason why GTS ditched the mesh in the main grill was because it was not a generic mesh style.

But aside from that, anyone notice Gt Spirit's models missing paint in some of the panel lines? It appears white, which I'm guessing is unpainted resin. Tis the second GTS model I've received with such imperfection.

Or is it just happening with metallic paints?

Are you sure its not polishing wax? Mine seems okay except fir the lack of glue on the windshield.

I already had missing paint inside a panel line.

Also see this one: the white on the vertical part of the door is not a reflection but missing or scratched paint.

Oh and see the (badly) reglued mirror?

If you are not satisfied do as I do, just return them!!! This is the only way they will ever improve...

I don't have the issue with the paint. Maybe I'll send their CS a note on the windshield. Wish me luck :D

I couldn't tell at first because it took a bit of effort to scrape some off, but at some people have mentioned, it does in deed seem to be polishing wax. Thank the lord it's only wax lol

Nah that's fine. I'm not petty enough to make a big stink over a bit of missing paint that I feel the need to make a customer service rep have a terrible day at work. (not that I'm not calling you petty; there are more important things to care about than big boy toy cars)

Another way to get them to improve is just stop being a buyer of their products....businesses lose their poop when sales goes down.

I always use good judgment and wouldn’t make a huge deal just on the basis of a bit of missing paint (that I am capable of repairing BTW) but when there are 3 other major QC issues on the same model and this it the second model you get because the first was worse... returning it is not exactly being petty and won’t make anyone have a bad day at work either. Let’s just give them a few more chances to improve before stopping buying their product.

Golly. Shadows are a bit too strong when viewing on my work computer.

Sure wasn't as strong on the computer I did the editing in. Will have to remember this for next time.

Not really. All display screens have their own colour palettes that differ from other displays. Macs for example do super rich dark values without being as dark as it will appear on web browsers on a PC.

In my case, my photoshop on my PC is set to view colours darker than they would appear on the web.
