Most of my collection of die casts

Post by Shambles » Mon Mar 13, 2017 5:27 pm

I started collecting die casts a couple of years ago, and am still adding to my collection regularly. I'm working on better photos of the individual cars, and will add them later.

Hi Spanner. Thanks for the compliment. Those are all Danbury Mint or Franklin Mine 1:24 cars, including the DB Mint transporter.

I suppose that a disproportionate percentage of my models are Corvettes. I'm a life-long Corvette enthusiast, and got into brokering real Corvettes after I retired http://www.thevettenet.com. I can only afford one of the real ones, but now I can have my cake and drive it too!

I thought it was from Danbury Mint cars! I had a look at some and for 1:24 scale cars they sure are beautifully detailed! Puts many 1:18 cars to shame that's for sure! I'd love to get my hands on a Thunderbird but im keeping my collection at 1:18 this time round..

Your website looks great! Good to see that your providing support for not only your own but other peoples passion!

And that sure is a beautiful Corvette! Grand Sport yes?

Hey Spanner,

Yes, it is a 2012 Grand Sport. Just a tad over 10K miles. Only had 5.5 K when I bought it last summer, but I just can't stay out of in on beautiful afternoons like today.

In case yall couldn't tell, I was a branding professional. Made the decals for these 1:24 diecasts myself. That's a Jada rollback, and a Danbury Mint '59 Chevy Sedan Delivery.

At least I thought I was a professional. I know how to make water-slide decals
