Thanks! The red Autoart Turbo 3.3 is one of my favorites too. I maybe overpaid to have it though!

Both of mine (red and bronze) came for 250$ and 300$ a piece, shipped, so I doubt that YOU overpaid. That's my area of expertise ;-)

Not that I want to compete over who paid more, but I think I paid around $300 USD for the red 3.3 Turbo and I recently picked up a green 3.0 Turbo for about $400 shipped.

They're among the most expensive models I have. But I really wanted them, so I think I can justify it.

I have a robot that scans eBay for 4 months now, I can assure you that in 2017 brown 911 Turbo never ever pops up below $230 unshipped, ok maybe few times per yer for a few minutes. With red, $280 unshipped is the statistical bottom that has lately been seen (in the first half of year). I believe that model was sold in a matter of minutes.

For a normal person that does not sit in eBay every day and does not have a scanner and opportunity to make a purchesa 24/7 it is really difficult to buy brown one below $250 - $300 shipped and red one below $300 - $350 shipped (we are talking about MIB quality here).

And for me with heavy OCD illness who disregards any listing without full HD photos from all sides, difficulty level is higher.

In some cases, sure, but some harder to find models only seem to go up in value to ridiculous prices. I might have been able to snag "used" models for less, but I prefer new ones.

Been eyeing the red 3.3 and green 3.0 for many months, the prices for new cars rarely dipped below $300 and they go fast.

The brown 3.0, forget it. I looked breifly for one, but even used they were $300 or more. There was a used one for $450 recently!

What I'm tying say is wait and be patience, I guarantee AUTOart will do another run of their Porsches soon.

Maybe, but unless I know for sure, I'd prefer to grab a model when it's available as opposed to risk the price climbing even higher.

Well... :wall:

Where is this information coming from? Are we talking about re-release of the 3.0 Turbo, 3.3 Turbo or both? Same colors as they originally released in? Any other Porsches known to be releasing again? I have so many questions.

Happened with e-type Series 1 (luckily new release is as expensive as I paid) ;-)
Happened with silver McLaren F1 for me (found another one -250$ cheaper than the original I bought) ;-)

But there is another side, the sooner you get the model, the more time you have to enjoy it and that counts too.

I do also believe that re-releases will be more expensive than original release say 5 - 7 years ago, although they will most certainly bring the price down ... somewhat. But hey, I will buy more, you simply can't get enough of 930s :D
