I was pretty impressed with the 2 KK Scale Ferraris I got...I'd love to add this Lambo too. Great color & it gets the light interior, which I think looks better.

The light interior is why I choose this one over the blue exterior color. Paint is very nice as well, hard to get it correct on the photo's.

Next purchase (AM Vulcan) is one I doubted about a long time. Especially about the color to choose, or more the lack of color to choose from. I don't like the green, the orange should be on a McLaren, the satin black doesn't suite the car and there is no real car in that color. So the only option for me was the white, as I very much doubt there will be more colors released in the future.

About the model itself, the shelve presence is very good, paint is very nice, most of the exterior carbon looks nice (same as on the Centenario). But on close inspection, it has it's flawes. The molded carbon on the engine and interior parts is not convincing. And unfortunately there is a lot of the stuff

The next update is one that I just had to have. There are not a lot of Dutch car manufacturers, let alone 1/18 scale models. So the moment Spark announced the Donkervoort D8-GTO I pre-ordered it without thinking twice.

For people that don't know the Donkervoort D8-GTO, it's madness on wheels. Just over 600kg, with around 400hp. Just watch one of the Youtube video's and you know enough. Like this one from Shmee150:

About the model itself, it's typical Spark. Sealed resin, but good quality and nice details. The color is impossible to get correct on photo's. It is a beautiful purple-ich blue, but that's not showing in the pictures unfortunately.

As every year one formula 1 car from Max Verstappen is added to the collection. Yesterday this years model arrived. Just like last year I choose the car from the Austrian GP. Again made by Spark.

First new model of 2020 is the OttOmobile Toyota Supra 3000GT TRD. One of those rare cars, that I can't see being released full opening at any time soon. Model is typical OttOmobile, with flawless paint, stance, wheels etc. But with solid grills & no interior flocking. As expected, solid piece in a cabinet.

Different for sure, and yes, this most likely won't see the light in scale again.

This addition is a pretty special one (for me that is). It's the 2019 Oreca Gibson 07 race car from Racing Team Netherlands. Very limited and only available directly via the racing team. It is signed by the 4 drivers driving this car this 2019/2020 WEC season in the LMP 2 class. The model is made by Spark.

It has been a while since the last update, but this week I picked up the Huayra BC from AUTOart. It wasn't very easy to pick a color though. I waited to see them all for real, to make the best choice. Finally went for the silver. The blue was horrible to see in the flesh. The purple is to dark for my liking, so it was between silver and red. The red is also very nice... Finally decided I like the silver better, because of the silver wheels and red interior. The all back interior of the red put me off, a Pagani interior should pop out in my opinion. Silver or red, the model itself is nice.

Apart from the lego brick behind the engine.....

My thoughts exactly! :shame:

The Red/Carbon has the best "pop" out of the box! However, the Black/Red interior sealed it me personally.

The latest new arrival is a replacement for my Bburago Ferrari 288 GTO. It's made by KK-scale. For the money I had to give it a go, and it's not bad at all. Did some slight modifications to it, like adding the red to the dashboard and seat as well as adding the missing dark stripe at the top of the windscreen.

Ow, and made a little diorama that fits perfect in a Ikea cabinet.

Wow, impress for $$, your improvements serve well too! I'm still holding on to the Hot Wheels Elite version, not perfect but there isn't much else :)

I bought the next update a while ago, but never took pictures until today. After reading good comments about the Auto World Camaro (on Facebook) I decided to give it a try and buy the Camaro Yenko. I also own a 1967 Auto World Camaro, which is a serious nice model. Well this new Auto World Camaro is a bit of a disappointment. Facebook is probably biased because it's a serious heavy diecast model, but diecast and heavy is something else than refinement. Biggest dissappointment is the paint, which has serious orange peel plus also some sort of dust in it. Also the fitment of the various panels is a bit so so. You can see in the first picture, that the door just isn't flush. The engine is a bit lackluster as well. Interior is pretty good though.

What to do with it? Will probably disassamble sometime in the future and try to polish the body and upgrade the engine. Or just sell it and buy the coming AUTOart Camaro.
