I noticed on your review. I took the risk, knowing it has fully sprung suspension, so changing ride height is probably easy. But when I opened the box, i noticed that my specimen isn't remotely as bad as the one you reviewed. It is still slightly low on the rear, but acceptable. Maybe I lower the front a tiny bit in the future.

20 years between the 2. That F1 was so far ahead of everything else in the 90's. One of the absolute highlights in automotive history.

Today this arrived:

2017 Le Mans GTE class winner from Spark. Had an epic battle with the Corvette till the very last lap. Obviously I pre-ordered the Corvette as well and they will be displayed side by side when that one arrives (probably May/June)

The model itself is typically Spark. I always like Spark, sure they're resin and sealed, but put together nicely, with good detail and paint. And I never had any QC issues with this brand, for what I think reasonable price. Same for this Aston Martin, I like it.

This morning I woke up, and had a sudden need for 80's cars. So I bought some.

First one, the Solido (old Universal Hobbies mold?) Renault 5 maxi turbo. I don't know what to think about the model. From a distance it's oke, but the paint is pretty poor, and the hood is misalligned when closed. I will try to modify the model when I have the time. But hey, it just cost me 25 euro's :P, so can't really complain.

Second is the Norev Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. Iconic car for every petrol head. Although sealed, i like it. Especially if you keep it's price in mind. Paint is good, I like the stance + exterior details and it has good shelf presence. Will probably ad some detail later and also ad some flocking to the interior.

Third is the Ottomobile Alpina C2 2,7. It's looks very nice, paint is very, very good. No QC issues, sits perfect on al four wheels etc. Happy with this one!

As I said before the BMW wins here, well at least for me.

Thanks guys!

Got a new update today. I found a new Hotwheels Elite Ferrari Mondial 3,2. Sealed box, flawless and 30 euro's. It came with a little brother, a Hotwheels 308 GTB for just 10 euro's. The 308 is a normal Hotwheels, but the shape etc is good. When I have the time, I will add details and interior flocking. The Mondial is a very nice and complete model, I like it very much.

The 308 a very nice model from Hot Wheels Elite and very unrated model/Ferrari.

This week I ordered two models from manufacturers I had never seen a model from, basically out of curiousity. Always a bit of a risk, but given the price of both, well worth taking it.

The first is a Lancia Delta HF Integrale from a manufacturer called Triple9. It didn't look to bad on photo's, but it is rubbish. It's just a toy, no details, there is not even tread in the tires (it's on slicks..........). Will not buy from this brand again, lesson learned.

The second is an Alfa Romeo spider series 3. It's made by KK-scale. This one is better, given pricepoint and photo's what I expected. It is sealed die-cast, but looks good on a shelve. Comes with softtop as well. Only real miss, is the lack of flocking in the interior, but understandable if you see the price. Also pretty easy to add myself later on.

T9 are horrible from what I gather, though the Spider does impressive somewhat.

Horrible is indeed the only correct word here... It also came with a broken mirror and 1 exhaust tip snapped off, because it wasn't propperly attached to the box. Easy to glue back on, but not oke... Paint is terrible, shutlines (it's sealed!!!) are very poor, the interior is 1 big plastic black thing, the grill is solid (but that's normal for this price range), but looks awfull. It looks oke from 25 meter distance.... That's the only good thing. :shame:

Maybe a modifying project in the future, like I have done with some of the more than 20 year old BBurago's and Maisto's from my childhood collection.

That's a nice collection Marcel! I see a lot of similarities with my collection. I am especially surprised by the Aston Martin from Spark, didn't know it was such a nice model until I saw your pictures.

Also I am curious. Which shop are you talking about here?
Yesterday I went to a shop here in the Netherlands, that always has some older models in stock, that are brand new and hard to find. It's a total drive of 5 hours, but always worth it (doesn't have these models in his online shop).
Greetings from a fellow Dutchie
