Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection
Last week the AUTOart Chiron arrived at my doorstep. A model I was looking forward to a lot. And i'm not dissappointed, it is very, very nice. I choose the blue with the dark blue and it looks fantastic! Especially the dark blue is superb. I lot of pictues this time, as I can't choose

Next update is the replacement for my very old Bburago Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. It is replaced with the CMC version of the same car. No need to say, that the CMC is slightly better detailed than the Bburago
It is not new, it has some markes, but the price was right. It needs a carefull clean and the rearview mirror is detached, so that needs to be glued back. Enjoy the pics!

But there is more
Another model that was in need of replacement was my old Jouef Ferrari 250 SWB Competizione. CMC made exactly the same car, but impossible to find for a reasonable price, and mostly far from new as well. Well, I got extremely lucky and I found a new one in sealed box! And for normal price as well.

And straight on to the next update
I Bought this pairing of Shelby Mustangs. The GT350R in white with blue stripes was on my list since AUTOart announced it. A very, very nice model if you ask me.
But as I don't have a lot of Mustangs in my collection, I needed something to display it with. And what's better than a old GT350. In this case is the ACME GT350 with Paxton Supercharger (only 11 build in '66). Not the most refind model, but it will display nice next to its younger brother.

Great set of Mustangs. Perfect iconic color combos, too.

I would agree.A very, very nice model if you ask me.
Nice pair sir. I too bought the White, I wasn't too fond of the Blue in person, too dark for my liking.

While I was picking up the Mustangs at the shop, I looked around to see if there was something worth taking for a steal. I noticed the Sunstar Lancia Stratos. No Stratos in the collection yet, and it looked oke enough, especially considering the price point.
After unboxing, I am still not disappointed. It is not very refind, but everything is there and works well. Even some interior carpeting and the paint work is not bad either.

Not bad! Are those textured seats?
