Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Ferrari F40 Competizione)
Arrived quite a while ago (had some other things to do the last couple of weeks) but finally some time to make propper photo's of my new LCD Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta. I have chosen for the purple as you can see. Normally I don't do fantasy colours, but this just did it for me. Plus I have the AR Tricolore on pre-order and I like my variety in colours. Now just AR is really going to release that model for real...
Model is, as most now, great. Only negative is that the CF weave on some panels don't line up with the panels next to it. But just the exhaust make up for it....

Lovely add. Not my first choice for exterior colour, but variety is a good thing.

wow...cool model. Loaded with details & a fun spec. Interesting to see the wheel spats...don't see those on modern cars, especially hyper cars.

Thanks!
Next new arrival: AUTOart McLaren Speedtail. Very nicely executed from AA!

In my opinion, one of the better efforts of late. The rear flaps and the cameras are a bonus!

Another model I bought, a while ago, at the 24h of Le Mans, is the Aston Martin DBR1 from the 24 hours in 1959 (which it won). The model is made by Spark. In my opinion, the DBR1 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Aston Martin DBR1)
Looks well above the Spark average. Nice add.

beautiful model & very cool diorama with the gravel. I have the old Shelby Collectibles version, which almost decent, doesn't look anywhere near as good as this.

Next addition, BBR Ferrari F12 TDF. I have been thinking about adding this model for years and as BBR is realeasing a new batch it was the right time. I have chosen for the Giallo Tristrato, which looks absolutely amazing in the sun shine.

Nice. I also went with a giallo tristrato but the one with the stripe

I have been going back an forth between the one with stripe and without. I like stripes, but I preferred this model with silver wheels. I might add a stripe or tricolore myself at some point.StratosWRC wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 11:17 amNice. I also went with a giallo tristrato but the one with the stripe

Another BBR Ferrari came in recently. This time not full opening, but a normal resin BBR. I went for the launch specification on this 296 GTS. I think the combination of the blue corsa paint and light interior looks fantastic.

Different. I can see the CF on the wheels too.
