We're lacking in reviews... Principle photographer is out of commission until the new year. I've personally have one, I like it. The interior is the only functional piece along with the rear spoiler. Interior is more detailed than typical AUTOart's of late. As for accuracy, I can't comment here yet...Atalante wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 1:39 pmI’m a bit on the fence with the Senna. Thanks for the feedback!

Great looking Skyline. I have Kyosho's older release in red & just had it out a few weeks back.

You can say that again. Seems the shipping problems to Europe are resolved now as well, as the planned august, september and october models all came in shortly after one another in the last few weeks.
As did some of my pre-orders, so here is the next one. The Aventador SVJ in Viola Parsifae.
This model has basically one problem. And that is getting the colour correct on pictures Purples are difficult enough to get correct, but this colour is just impossible. The colour and paint in the flesh is stunning!
Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Lamborghini Aventador SVJ)
That looks really sharp! Better than I thought it would based on the initial colours from AUTOart.

Yes, it is really sharp. The paint and colour are spot on.
On to the next arrival. I'm a big fan of the japanese cars from the 90's , so this R34 Skyline V-spec II was a no brainer. The colour choice was simple, it had to be bayside blue. But AA offers two different wheels, the originals and the BBS with gold centers. In the end it became the latter, just because BBS.
(Ow, and no, there is no paint problem on the door, that is just the lighting/reflection difference between the flat door and curved wheel arches )

I think you got a bit of paint mismatch there my friend cause mine doesn't look like that from any angle

Might be, but only visible under a certain light angle and only this camera. With my phone, or, more important, the nacked eye, haven't spotted any difference. And I have it on display in the living room for 2 weeks now, still can't see it. So for me, all good.StratosWRC wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 8:41 amI think you got a bit of paint mismatch there my friend cause mine doesn't look like that from any angle
My camera is terrible with metallic blue's and purples, making me use a lot of filtering to get close to the real colour on the photo's. This maybe highlights any tiny difference in the paint or reflection of it?

Next pre-orders came in last week, this time some Kyosho's. The first is the Fiat 131 Abarth Rally. I chose the yellow without livery, just because I think it looks good in that colour. Must say, nice model. I know it is a re-release, quite old mold as well, but it aged really well, the panel gaps etc are really good for instance. Even better than on a real 1970's Fiat probably

It does look great, good call on the colour. I personally love these "presentation" models.

hilarious, but probably SO true.
I have the original release in Alitalia livery. Love these models & they are really well done.

Another new Kyosho added to the collection is the Austin Healey Sprite Mk1. Funny little car and very nicely executed by Kyosho.
It is really tiny

Positioned next to the bike gives one good perspective of AH scale. Nice add!

Back to AUTOart additions. It is quite busy with pre-orders coming in, the next delivery is the AA Mclaren Senna. I choose the throphy kyanos (blue), just because I like that colour and it also comes with silver wheels.
Although only the doors open on this model, it is very, very good! (apart from the seatbelts)
