Yeah I also don't like the wheels on mind. Planning to swap them with some nicer aftermarket optionMarcel171281 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 5:45 amI have been going back an forth between the one with stripe and without. I like stripes, but I preferred this model with silver wheels. I might add a stripe or tricolore myself at some point.StratosWRC wrote: ↑Sat Aug 26, 2023 11:17 amNice. I also went with a giallo tristrato but the one with the stripe

Thanks!
Not new, but a model I did some slight, but very neccessary, modifications on is the OttOmobile Alfa Giulia GTAm.
There were some things very wrong with this model, as you can see in the post I made at that time:
viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8659&start=450#p83563
The stance obviously the most annoying, as that aggressive stance is what the GTAm makes the GTAm. OttOmobile basically used the underpinnings of the regular Giulia and put the wider GTAm body on top of it.
So time to do something about it. I made the following changes to this model:
- Widened the stance on both axles and slightly lowered it
- Made all the shutlines black
- Added harnesses
- Flocked the interior floor, doorpanels and dashboard and alcantara inserts in the seats
- removed all the windows and refitted them, as some were not fully in place or not straight in place
I haven't yet made a CF decal for the roof, but that is still on the to do list for later. The model doesn't need disassambling fot that anyway.

Another model I bought at the Le Mans 24h race from the Spark shop is the Alpine Renault A442B. This particular car is from the 1978 car, which it won.

Very cool...always nice to add a Le Mans winner, especially a somewhat different one.

Next addition is also a quirky car, but a much more famous and well known car, the Lancia Stratos. I own a Stratos Stradale (from Sun Star), but didn't have a rally version yet. It had to be a Kyosho and I have chosen the winning car of the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally (because my other Lancia rally models are also Monte Carlo winners and you can't beat the Alitalia livery).
This model is a recent re-release. Model is still pretty good, but it does show its age is the smaller details and molding accuracy. As far as I know and can see, the only upgrade over the original models is the clear coat on top of the decals, which is obviously great for the long term.

Love the livery and removable auxiliary light cover.

Thanks! The name is my mistake, was doing a photo shoot with a line up of Kyosho Lancia's including my Delta Integrale. Don't know why I mixed things up

ah...thought I was losing it for a minute there.

Arrived last week, the BBR Ferrari SP3 Icona Daytona. This car is maybe my favourite new supercar of the last decade, just absolutely wonderful. The BBR model isn't bad either.

The blue interior is so radical, just love it.
