Re: Marcel's 1/18 scale collection (Auto World Camaro Yenko --> Disappointing..)

Sorry to hear the disappointment. I wish we would get more samples of American muscle cars. Rumour is some are afraid to send us samples...
serious heavy diecast model
That means pooh... Just because it has some mass doesn't mean the model is refined. Who were praising the model? Novice collectors?

I know that ;) It is being praised by the same people that don't let any oppertunity go by without mokking about AA and composite. I know not to take those whiners serious, just wanted to try an Auto World model. Specially since it was discounted because the box was damaged and my older Auto World model is pretty good.

Shall i do a review on this model, when I have time?

Any brand can fail and overall execution, AUTOart, Exoto and Auto World. Yes please, it would be our first review!

Next addition to the collection arrived. Not bad a model at all must say, decent work form AUTOart.

Sometimes it's a pretty difficult choice on the colour, but in this case not so difficult. Also the stripes are way better executed than on the other colours!

This also arrived lately. Was still missing this generation of Viper (because of 10 years absence in this great hobby) and with adding the ACR, why not find an AUTOart SRT-10. It's an older AA, which shows in the use of doglegs on the bonnet and boot lit, but overall very nice. Especially the wheels.

Bought this Alfa GTA Junior recently. Walked into it, still in its sealed box. From times when Minichamps made real models, instead of sealed bricks.

The next addition to the collection is also a step back in time. When Kyosho still made real models that is. Although they look to be back producing real models again, the last couple of years was the same as Minichamps. Not good.

The model I added is the Caterham Super Seven. The models was completely new in box, original pricetag still on it, dated 1996. The guy who stored it, stored it good. Lots of old Kyosho's have paint rash, but this is absolutely like new.
