Nice one! I don’t know much about Jan Lammers but I sure know Andy Wallace.

Great colors on the exterior and interior on that, as well as great detail!

Thanks!

Next update is something completely different. People following my collection know that is all about the variety. That is what does it for me, the fact that the history of the car is so divers. There is plenty of european stuff, either old or new, in the collection, but Japanese and American cars are a bit underrepresented. Especially the late 40s and early 50s (I don't collect pre WWII). Time to do something about that, so I went shopping. One of the models I bought is a Cadillac Series 62 convertible from 1947. Model is made by autoworld.

Ow yeah, forgot to mention, I finally finished the diorama after two years. This is how it was before:

Nice! The caddy looks good. What are your thoughts overall? TIA.

It is not too bad, but not perfect either. It is an old mould from Anson, with some upgrades to the interior. The paint is very nice and the shape and stance are spot on. It also looks very good on display. When taking a closer look, it becomes clear that it is an older model. Things like the doglegs, panelgaps (which are not too obvious due to the colour) and engine detail aren't really up to todays standard. But on the other hand, it was in the discount area of my favourite shop, because the box was torn, so the price was very friendly.

Another old American classic I bought is a 1951 Studebaker Champion Coupe. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but definitely unique and I like unique. The model is made by ACME and it is good. I would even call it very good. Paint is gorgeous and details and fuctional parts all over the place. I love this quirky boat (it is actually quite big...).

Yes, I like unique cars, too. I like the details on that, and that's a striking color!

Thanks!

Completely different addition again this time. The Honda NSX-R was on my wishlist forever, so when AA announced it, a pre-order was done without thinking twice. Model came in some weeks ago and I finally had some time to make the pictures and to take a proper look at it. The NSX is such a beautiful car imho and AA nailed it. Absolutely perfect, apart from, again, the seatbelts. I choose the champoinship white without the carbon. It suits the car perfectly.

Definitely in their top 10 models ever! But you knew it was going to be good based on their first effort.
