I got one as I'm getting tight on space, and as you said they never go on sale. I also got the glass doors and a ton of glass shelves too! Great deal. Almost want to get another.

Also, I got my order shipped to the nearest pick up centre. No way I'm going in to one of those places!

Got excited for a moment, but this sale didn't apply to the U.S. I drove to my nearest Ikea last weekend (an hour away!) and didn't grab a Billy since the place was crawling with students. There was no room to breathe. Anyways, once I secure a truck I'll be grabbing a Billy and a bunch of extra shelves so I can finally display my cars.

I did pick one up. Keep it in the basement until I need it. could pass on the price! It seems the raised the prices on the glass shelf and doors subsequently. Boo!
