Autoart Pagani Zonda Revolucion (78271) - Measurements

Post by Wbgoode77 » Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:23 pm

To those of you who own this model, I'd love to get some help! It's on order but currently somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic and I'm looking to get a nice case for it. Pretty sure I found one but need the actual dimensions of the car to see if will be a good fit. Based on the owners manual, I know it's 10.75" long, but really need the a couple more measurements. I'd like to display it with the engine cover off and prompted up in the corner of the case. Because of this, I'm considering a 1/12th case.

It would be greatly helpful, if a current owner of this model could take a few measurements and post them up. Here is what I'm looking for...

- Confirmation of 10.75" length
- Width car at its widest point
- Height of engine cover whilst standing on its end (back of rear wing to furthest point on side body panel)

I tried to post a pic I created (*png format) that illustrates the actual measurement I'm looking for...but don't know how, lol!

Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing your responses!

Hi, I think I could help. Measurements were based on M#78273 which is essentially the same car.

Lenght ~ 10.75"
Width ~ 4.6"
Rear Cover Height ~ 4.9"

Glad to help. FYI I would not recommend the rear be positioned topside for an extended period of time. They are too many small pieces that may deform over time.

Great advice...my plan was to either find or have a stand created that could hold it properly upright. I'm thinking something like this (found in a Schmee150 BC youtube video). Any thoughts on where I could have one of these commissioned?

I see the images. You need to figure out how not to stress the fins. I guess if there is secondary support system you're okay.

Any chance I could get you to snap a picture of the underside of the engine cover? Looking to have a custom stand built and need to better understand the underneath structure. Thx in advance!

Here. I believe something can be fabricated. Two metal pins on outer edge connection point upper middle section.

Let us see the final results when you're done!
I have one too (#78272) and I'm always thinking of different ways to present it's full beauty.

And tell me if there is any help I can do.

My Atlantic Case finally arrived and got my customer engine cover stand from PRDMinatures all set up...I’m pleased with the outcome.
