Driven to 14th place in the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans by Garcia/Magnussen/Taylor.
I've wanted a C7-R for quite a while & finally decided to pull the trigger. A few different versions are available (also made by Spark in sealed resin). This is my first AutoArt using their composite material...so not diecast, but also not sealed as their C6-R was. Nicely done model, though I do wish it opened fully like their old C5-Rs.
with Maisto's C7 Stingray.
with its predecessors, the C5-R & C6-R, also by AutoArt.

What did you think of the model overall? A little too plastic-looking or feel??
Re: AutoArt 2016 Corvette C7-R #63
Overall I like it & think between this or the Spark, I made the right call. I'm not a super picky collector, as long as it looks good on display & with its peers, I'm generally quite happy. I love full openings, but as you can see on the C5-R, the shut lines can be an issue...which at least on the doors of the C7-R are very good.
I do find it very light, but that is also true of the C6-R.

Yes, lite is a very common theme with their composite series.
