73337 Biante / AutoArt 1:18 Holden HX Sandman Panel Van
I saw this model even before I started collecting.
When I studied in Europe in 2011 I went to the shop to pick up my very first model in 1:18.
And I saw this vehicle on shelf. It really impressed me with how cool and exotic it is but the price was 240+ Euro.
I thought it is insane to spend as much on a model.
Little did I know
I kept on seeing it for sale in Australian shops but always postponed purchase of this wagon.
About two months ago I pulled the trigger and ordered it. Have to say it was cheaper than it was in that shop.
So here it is! Really pleased with model.
Biggest complaint is orange peel on the paint. Specially since the model has huge plain areas cause it is panel wagon.
But for the rest it is amazing. Great execution.
It is an essence of everything Australian - exotic, uber cool, bright and rare.
Overall I love it!
Hope you like it. Cheers!

That's pretty cool. Aussies always came up with weird cars. This, the "ute".
Re: Biante 1:18 Holden HX Sandman Panel Van
These cars are beautiful in their weirdness, Wes.
That's what attracts me.
Forgot to mention that 1:18 Panel Van comes with two surf boards and roof racks to hold them.

Oh I'm drawn to weird cars too, like the Ferrari 250 GTO "Breadvan"

Same here. Thanks for the quick photos, I love to see your non-typical car. This one is kind of special, great add!StratosWRC wrote:Oh I'm drawn to weird cars too, like the Ferrari 250 GTO "Breadvan"

I like Breadvan but I should probably just skip it despite the fact it is very unique car and desirable model.StratosWRC wrote:Oh I'm drawn to weird cars too, like the Ferrari 250 GTO "Breadvan"
There have to be a limit.

Very nice model. I am postponing the purchase of this model aswell. I already have some holden saloons (classic carlectables), but I really dig this sandman and I would like to add it aswell to my collection.
Can you tell me where you bought this model?

Welcome to the forum.
If you remember I bought Exoto Porsche 935 in Plain White from you.

I bought Sandman from Kollectable Kaos.

Searched their site and I didn't find the same one like I have. Seem to be sold out.
However you can pre-order Holden HZ Sandman Panel Van in Black which is a bit different to mine.

Hope this helps. If I find another Biante HX Sandman Van for sale I will let you know.

Many thanks Sanchez.
I did remember it was you who bought the 935, but did not want to mention this here in this topic
I hope you still enjoy the model.
Can you tell me more about their quality of shipment. I assume the shipment cost was very high aswell?
And didn't you have massive import duties, as I'm afraid this might ruin it for me..
Here's 3 of mine:
