Some of my favorite Mustangs in my collection are these Highland Green Metallic beauties...the later cars inspired by the iconic Mustang Steve McQueen drove in Bullitt.
Only AA has done the '01 & '08 cars, but various manufacturers have done the '68 (Ertl, Greenlight & AA has done many runs). The color on the AA is off, from what I've read, as it isn't metallic, but I still find it to be the best looking. Mine is from the 2nd batch that AA ran, without the Bullitt Art Box, but in the standard Millenium clamshell & doesn't have the license plate from the movie.
That is Chad McQueen in the pic above.

Sadly the other two cars don't come anywhere near the level of charisma that the '68 had.

Thanks, KRAFTIG.
very true...the '68 is just incredible. The '08 though, does try & sticks much closer to the original formula.StratosWRC wrote:Sadly the other two cars don't come anywhere near the level of charisma that the '68 had.

The '68 has for sure the most presence. Still haven't added this one to my collection.
Very nice trio and pictures. Well done. Your collection really has some nice pieces.
