Another Craigslist find from last month. I'd been holding out for a 1M (Otto, maybe?), but couldn't pass up the deal, especially for a DE in Sapphire Black. The original wheels are a bit small, but actually look a lot better in person. Member BMW Fan (Jason) listed a set of E92 wheels for sale & I snapped them up (exactly the ones I was looking for...Thanks Jason! ) & swapped them. I also slightly lowered the front to remove some fender gap. Pretty happy with the result, especially for $50, including the rims.

Kyosho BMW E82 135i Sport Dealer Edition
Re: Kyosho BMW E82 135i Sport Dealer Edition
Nice. I keep putting this one off as I hope the 1M will be released one day

Thanks, KRAFTIG.
Re: Kyosho BMW E82 135i Sport Dealer Edition
You've posted the link in the GTS thread... So came here to say that the model's looking fab. The wheels are the only big downside of the model. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience in modifying die casts and I'm pretty scared of it to be honest.
Re: Kyosho BMW E82 135i Sport Dealer Edition
seriously...if I can do it, anybody can.
Kyosho wheel swaps are generally very easy. Just pull the wheels off (being mindful of the brake/caliper) & slide the new set on. No screws (at least on these somewhat recent releases).

Very nice addition. Have the same black one aswell, togheter with the cabrio in champagne. Those were the good old days where kyosho pushed every bimmer there was into the market of 1:18 scale cars with great details for very reasonable prices.
A shame that story ended..
