Kysoho: 1:12 Ferrari F40

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Sun Nov 22, 2015 1:40 pm

I bought this one on the whip, I was in the moment and said why not. This is my first 1:12 scale model, but not my first "large" scale piece, I have the Pocher 1:8 Lamborghini Aventador. And what perfect way to initialize a 1:12 collection with the Ferrari F40. The model itself is well executed inside and out. You can remove the wheel pin and lug-not to remove the wheels. Gas caps open on each side too. The 288 GTO was my favorite Ferrari of all-time, but that has changed very recently to the F40! This is a PURE driver's car, not non-sense, fuck you attitude of a car. That is priceless in my opinion! Enjoy the pics!

PS I'm having a little buyer's remorse, I may sell the model and entertain offers. You know where to reach me! ;)

Why? It's an epic model of an epic car.

Totally agree, but space is limited and I don't want to open a can of worms with 1:12 :)

Excellent acquisition! I'd say keep it. Would be a fine piece to any collection. Luckily the market for 1:12 isn't huge (no pun intended) but I know that once you get one Ferrari you have to get the rest :)

I wouldn't sell for a few years if I were you. It'll be insanely sought-after in only a year or two; you could double your money.

F40 is my favorite, too. If I had room for 1:12's, this & the Tamiya 288 GTO would be my top choices.
