Hello diecast enthusiasts. I've noticed that this particular model has been re-released. The German based manufacturer's quality has lowered substantially. They produced the black test car as well as the versions of Zanardi, Moreno, Gachot , De Cesaris and of course M. Schumacher. The front wing on the Moreno car isn't straight . The left front is higher by a lot. The decals on the Zanardi model (Pepsi logos) are not crisp and the colors overlap. Does anyone else feel that the quality control is lacking ?

Minichamps has been on a steady decline for years, though my experience is more 1:18 than 1:43. Models that were initially released as full access now not a pale comparison as sealed diecast. I think Minichamps saving grace is their passion for modern and classic F1 cars. I don't think much else is inspiring collectors from them otherwise.
