Minichamps' 1969 Maserati Ghibli Coupe SS

Post by Gavin » Wed Sep 30, 2015 3:03 pm

I bought the silver Spyder dirt cheap at a Mid-Ohio race many years ago, but had really wanted this blue coupe. Ended up getting a great deal on this when Scale18 was still around & traded the Spyder to a friend for his AA Skyline R35. Love the 60's/70's styling on this Ghibli & absolutely love the color combo. Back when Minichamps could make a fantastic model for a reasonable price.

Nice piece. It is one of those models I almost pulled the trigger on at 5-6 times. :)

really wish that Minichamps had made more of the 60's/70's Maseratis at the price/detail level. I'd love the Indy, though sealed resin at $200+ will never make it into my collection.
