Hi everyone ! I just bought myself a Hot Wheels Elite 458 Speciale in red color.
As we all know this is the very last batch that HWs were rushing to build before they lost their approval,
the details is literally a disaster to me. I disassembled the car to polish the paintwork, now the paint looks much better when I received it. Now I'm planning to re-paint the car completely and make some changes to it. Does anyone know what's the material of windshields, glasses used in resin models? Cuz I find it looks really decent.
Thank you!

Funny thing I was looking at my example of the same, it shows some paint rash

I spent 1 hour to disassemble the car and stick the masking tape, to prevent any damage to the parts.
And spent 8 hours to remove the paint rash, trying hard to give it a shiny paint work.
The result is absolutely worth it!

I admire the effort, but I don't have time or patience

I don't blame you, only 1:18 scale, diecast with opening parts to date. I truly miss Hot Wheels Elite. I answered the post question in the other thread. Again:victorchan97621 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 30, 2020 6:36 pmI'm doing this only because this is my dream car LOL
I was trying to post some pictures but I can't find the right way to do it,
do you have any idea how to post it in here ? Thanks!
