Here's a model that is very underrated, the Hot Wheels Elite Ferrari California 250 SWB. The car is modeled after the hit film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Oh by the way Mia Sara was soo hot in the film! Paint isn't perfect, a little rough is some areas. Attention to detail for $75 model is very good. Checkout those engine and interior photos! So the dilemma, is the $500 CMC 250 worth it? Enjoy the pics!

The detail is actually really not bad. According to my records, I paid $396 for the CMC, and it's worth it. This car has about 1000 less parts, plus no fancy materials, so yeah the CMC is worth it, but this doesn't look bad at all. I'm actually surprised at how good it is

I'm very surprised too! But Lucky13 did mention the car was a hidden gem. $500 price tag is based on what is available today. CS has one for $559, no thanks.StratosWRC wrote:The detail is actually really not bad. According to my records, I paid $396 for the CMC, and it's worth it. to me, this is easily one of Hot Wheels Elite's best models. I have the same one & love it.
My only issue is the grill, which I find a bit cheap looking. The CMC is obviously detailed better, but I'm 100% happy with the Hot Wheels Elite.

definitely agree on both points.Lucky13 wrote:This is definitely one of the top 5 Elite models ever. And for whatever reason, leaving the fine details under the skin aside, this Cali actually looks better to me than the CMC model.
