What are your thoughts and opinions on the model itself? TIA!

I have the Clapton version, love the colors. I am biased by how little I paid. I love mine but I paid $30 USD shipped when they were on Amazon Prime.

I saw it in person once and I was VERY impressed.

Thanks gents! I'm just loving the body lines on this Ferrari!JamesonsViggen wrote:I have the Clapton version, love the colors. I am biased by how little I paid. I love mine but I paid $30 USD shipped when they were on Amazon Prime.
I know the "Star" editions are more affordable, but I want RED which will continue with my theme.

Don't you already have the CMC version? Part of me wishes I got this model but should probably stay away from vintage.

No, I have this one. Don't think CMC made this one either, though I'm not authority on CMC or classic FerrarisKwando wrote:Don't you already have the CMC version? Part of me wishes I got this model but should probably stay away from vintage.

HW is the only one that makes the 250GT Lusso. The body is substantially different from the 250GT SWB (both Hot Wheels Elite & CMC made this one).
The Hot Wheels Elite is a nice model, though more along the lines of the decent 250LM than the excellent 250GT Californias. Like the LM, the Foundation model was made first & then the Elite was made by adding more detail. My main issue is that the Foundation uses the same size tires all around, which is how most 1:1 pictures look. For the Elite, they used larger rear tires.
Hot Wheels Elite 250GT SWB California
Hot Wheels Elite 250GT SWB (bugs the living hell out of me that they used these horrific looking wire wheels when both the Lusso & Californias used the more realistic looking wires )
