Maisto Ferrari California T

Post by Gavin » Wed Feb 03, 2016 3:41 pm

I had wanted to buy Hot Wheels Elite's California, but supply ran out & I missed them at a reasonable price. I have to say, I'm not overly disappointed, as I like the styling on this California T quite a bit better. This is the first Ferrari I've bought since Maisto/Bburago took over the license & I'm pretty impressed. This feels miles better than any of my other Maistos (I have 50 in my collection). Obviously, this isn't as detailed as the old Hot Wheels Elite's, but then it was only $15. Not sure the Signature versions are up to Hot Wheels Elite levels yet, but here's hoping they get there.

That is a nicely detailed model for $15! I'm waiting for a Signature version before I make a purchase.

Is this model similar to a Bburago race and play? I am not impressed by the detail paintwork. I recall the Bburago is better detailed?

Maybe that's why I didn't notice... ;)
