Norev Porsche 997 GT3RS Mk II DE

Post by Gavin » Fri Dec 06, 2013 1:35 pm

Got this model a few months back as part of a trade with a fellow collector (along with the Hot Wheels Elite F12). I'd been after this color combo, as it was my favorite of the ones available. I liked the Aqua Blue, but already had the 997 Turbo Mk II in that color.

Nicely done model, though I do wish these 911's (also have Norev's Targa) were done to their HQ series like the MB S-classes or Audi S5. This model, like my Turbo was lowered all around & looks much better.

Such a beautiful car! Your first pic was a wallpaper of mine for a number of months too. I'm waiting for the AA release, and this will be the colour combination I go with too.

Norev did great job with this RS; I have mine in blue/red combo. I think this could be Autoart if it would have better interior (flocking) and side windows. The paint job is astonishing, realy perfect! Stunning model for that price, much better than any Hot Wheels Elite. Best buy for me!

Both grey and blue versions look great. I love the fact it has tyre markings, AutoArt should learn this.
I wanted to add Norev 997 many times but never did.
Wonder why all of their 997 versions and colours are so rare cause there are so many of them!

I love the 997. I own 6 or so and actuallly sold a few over the summer. I have the blue/red combo and love it. I am looking forward to upgrading to the AA when it is released.

I am not sure if this is my favorite, but it is in the discussion. This is a great model. Norev did a stellar job with their 997s.

Thanks guys!

I was really tempted by that Aqua Blue...one of my favorite recent Porsche colors. I like the red or the champagne accents, though already having the Aqua Turbo II, I wanted something different. This is the only dark grey Porsche I have, so it stands out nicely.

The upcoming AA looks great & I may go that route for the GT3 RS 4.0, though I'd be 100% happy if Norev did that one as well. AA is pricing itself out of my collection, unfortunately.
