The Volkswagen Golf GTI could be considered a brand in its self. The latest generation Mark Seven Golf GTI refines the GTI even further. Extremely positives reviews from the automotive community the car is considered in certain circles the best all-around bang for the buck available today. And once again retaining the "Pocket Rocket" seal of approval and class leader for hatchbacks. My collection consists of many Golf models, all in red so the latest dealer edition version by Norev was a must have.
Thankfully I did not have the door paint issue as seen in some initial photos of the model. Though the essence of the model is captured well the little bits just aren't there. Exterior is completed with solid plastic grilles while the 1:1 has many honeycomb style perforated pieces. Inside there is no carpeting in the boot or main passenger area, and exterior hatch shutline is something less desirable. On the plus side the exterior paint is very good, motor details is well done. Inside the interior detail is good, Norev captured a lot of the interior elements, but some areas lack refinement. Enjoy the pics!

looks pretty nice, though I can see some issues.

Definitely not the most refined model, their MKVI effort was the best of the lot by far.Gavin wrote:looks pretty nice, though I can see some issues.
