So perhaps this is a dumb question but how the heck does one get the plastic cage/ end pieces off the plastic display base on Norev 1:18 scale models? I can’t for the life of me get the end pieces off?
Also, are small scratches etc par for the course on these models. Looking at the Porsche 962
Thanks
Norev models
Re: Norev models
Hi, welcome, can you post an image of the model itself?
Re: Norev models
Scratches, first on the gold/red pin stripe, second on the O of Porsche. It’s a Norev 962. Normal or is this too much?

Re: Norev models
I still don't understand the question. What are you trying to do?
As for the rough paint work, standard course at this price point. Some may be better executed than others.

Re: Norev models
I am just checking with you guys with much more experience if these type of flaws are normal on these models.
Re: Norev models
Its a hit and miss. I think it looks worse in the image based on zoom. If you're not buying your models at a brick and mortar location it is hard to choose the best available example. I think its fine.Titan7 wrote:I am just checking with you guys with much more experience if these type of flaws are normal on these models.
