That's a steal. Give yourself a big slap on the back for spotting a real bargain. I bought mine for about the same price direct from Otto, although I did have to pay the shipping cost on top of that.

By the way things are looking over the next 2 month release schedule, I won't have to hand over any of my hard earned. Unless the Opel Lotus Carlton is one of the choices.

Re: [2012 - 2015] OttOmobile
A rather unpleasant surprise in my e-mails this week, base price for any new Otto model has risen (again!) to €59.90. Those paying in US dollars should find things a little less nasty since Otto claims the exchange rate is the reason for these price rises. I can't help but think that retailers have put pressure on Otto to close the gap to their web prices, and if buying from Germany with the very competitive postage rates - at least to Europe - and the nice discounts offered by the more canny, the difference has diminished. Or maybe I'm just a suspicious so and so.......

Well it seems Otto and GT Spirit aren't the only ones, AUTOart models are going up too!

In relation to my 'suggestion' about Otto pricing above, a quick look around the prospective retailers for the upcoming batch makes interesting viewing. Car Model Italy are showing the new Jetta GTX at €79.95, which despite the rise for club members is less than many of the Otto items from 2014....... It's all a little bit irritating, although my opinion of Otto club membership will not change while it's still less expensive to order this way. However, the gap is closing when retailer discounts and lower shipping costs are factored in.

If anyone had any doubts about the links between Otto and GT Spirit, take a look at the new facebook photos of the Alpine A220 assembly. Play 'spot the model that Otto doesn't sell' and see what you can discover....

I had that suspicion

There was never any doubt, I don't think they were hiding the fact either.

Looking at the GT Spirit facebook images of the 911 Sport classic build, I can't help but wonder about the numbers stuck on the roofs of several of the models. And some have the sticker without a number.....

I'm hoping they produce a decent 1302S version. Essentially a paint job and decals. An accurate Beetle 1303 would also be welcome.
