Since I don't think we are going to see a decent replica of the FXX K, I decided to buy my first resin model made by BBR and I quite like it, except the price...

The overall quality of the model is better than Spark's 918 Spyder for instance. Much more refined and accurate. If only it could cost 100€, it would be perfect.

Beautiful piece David, looking for to the updated photography images. At this point in time I don't know who will fill my void of Ferrari models with Hot Wheels Elite out of the picture. I can tell you I won't be paying $400-$500 for a resin piece. I just can't justify it

A very reliable source said that Autoart are still having talks with Ferrari so there is hope. As for this one, I really like the car and it looks like a nice model, but I can't justify the price. As long as you like it, that's all that matters though

"AUTOart having talks with Ferrari, so there is hope" — yeah, hope for $500 Signature models of Ferraris. But at least they would open.

The BBR FXX K is beautiful. Great lettering on the tires, and the profile view is one of the best shapes of any Ferrari ever. It has hints of F50, but much better proportioned.

Mine came a couple of weeks ago - absolutely stunning model. I'd post pics, but just took a few quick ones with my cell phone on the kitchen counter - they're not anywhere near as nice as the photos David posted. I'll try and take a few better ones and post them later - is there anything specific anyone would like to see?

I saw that he mentioned they were cell phone pics, which seems almost unbelievable... no doubt his "pro" images are on the next level.

I miss having that capability sometimes (sold my bodies, lenses and lights a few years back when I got out of doing portraits and weddings)

I wish I had the time to pursue the hobby more myself, but alas there is no time. Welcome to DS!
