Welly 1986 Ford Mustang SVO

Post by Gavin » Fri Aug 24, 2012 11:15 am

I got this model from a local Ebay seller along with a couple other models (Minichamps E92 M3GT2 & SC GT40). I hadn't planned on getting it, but saw it on the shelf & for $20, I'm pretty happy with it. I didn't really like the SVO growing up, but like its unique look now.

A fairly nice budget model. Wheels are very plasticky looking, but the engine & interior look very good, In my opinion. Welly also makes this with the single plane rear spoiler & GMP makes the '84 version (open headlights & other detail changes).

Nice model.

The SVO never got a lot of succes; the car was loaded of innovations for is time, but the price was higher then 6,000 $ of a regular GT whit the 5.0 L.

Thank you and if the other members want to see how to do it i can made a post to show to all people how to do it by your self, it's easy but sometime it take time to do it, each diecast has a different level of difficulty to disassemble.

Just ask and i gonna show you how to do it. :okay:

Maybe you can create the first "How to" step by step for the site? Let me know if it can be done. You will receive www. DiecastSociety.com decals for your efforts :deal:
