Revell Golf GTI MKIV

Post by [KRAFTIG] » Wed Aug 29, 2012 7:10 pm

My passion for Volkswagens and my obsession to complete the GTI platform drove me to purchase this next model. It really is a poor example of a die cast reproduction. I don't even know where to start ??? LOL. Everything is poor; the paint, the interior, the wheels - so thin! The best part, why would Revell chose to to power a "GTI" with a diesel motor? TDI, LOL. This car deserve better. I think I found my next project car... Enjoy the pics!

I hope you not pay to much for this one :shame: .

It look cheap, tire and wheel are very small for a sport car  .

For the diesel, I read that theses engines got high torque, but I dont know if it's possbile to find GTI whit diesel engine in Europe.

$45 to be exact. I agree it's a very poor representation of the Mark IV GTI. I may modify it with new wheels and lowered suspension... Also I'm also eagerly awaiting the OTTO release of the MKIV R32! :worthy:

I almost bought one of these from a local 1:1 dealer many years ago. Kind of wish I had, but man, it just gets the whole look wrong, doesn't it?
