This is not quite the case. There were earlier models, like the one Kraftig has shown , which had the headlights installed by a tab in the middle. This makes for an annoying "black" dot in the middle. Later on CMC corrected the issue and started gluing the lenses and no longer had a tab in the middle. However some of them were sloppy and the glue fogged up the lenses. This is not something that changes with time. It is not about holding up. You either got a model with a dot in the lenses that will never fog up or you got one without that may be fogged up or not. They don't change with time.

CMC is the best in the business In my opinion. Exoto are the only ones who can give them a run for their money, but considering the price difference, the availability, the legality and awful practices of Exoto, CMC models definitely take the cake for the best in the industry.

Thanks for the tip. And I agree about the CMC vs Exoto. Ultimately I would choose an Exoto over a CMC, but luckily they make lots of different models, and I'd be cringing while clicking that purchase button with an Exoto, while I'd be pretty confident with a CMC.
